Leader Guide

For VBS teachers, Sunday school leaders, and youth group hosts running a room of 5 to 100+.

Quick start

  1. 1Open Host a room, pick Group (5-30) or Event (30-100+), and choose the mission day.
  2. 2Put the lobby on the big screen: kids scan the QR or type the room code.
  3. 3Press Start mission. Only you can move the room: Back, Next, and the Badge ceremony.
  4. 4Watch the team scoreboard: choices score points, reflections add 50, gifts add 5.
  5. 5Finish with the ceremony: badges stamp automatically and the reflection wall shows every answer.

Questions & answers

How many kids fit in one room?

Solo 1 · Co-op 2-4 · Group 5-30 · Church Event 30-100+ · XR Pod 2-8. The room enforces the limits for you.

How are teams made?

Learners are auto-sorted into the five zone teams (Blue, Green, Gold, Purple, Light) as they join. Co-op rooms share one team.

What if a child closes the tab?

Their seat is saved on that device: reopening the room link returns them to it. The green dot shows who's online.

Do I approve reflections?

Reflections appear with names on the celebration reflection wall, so you review them together as the closing moment.

What proof do families get?

Every player gets a printable OPPRRC proof page: badges, points, and their written reflections. Print it from the celebration screen.

Can I run the same day twice?

Yes: every room is fresh. Host a new room with the same mission day for each class or session.

Learner Guide

For every kid and teen entering the kingdom: here is your quest, traveler.

Quick start

  1. 1Scan the code with your camera, or go to Join and type the room code (like NKC-713-VINE).
  2. 2Choose your name, your quest role, and your character look.
  3. 3Read the scripture, make your choice, do the team task, and write your reflection.
  4. 4Earn the day's badge at the ceremony and save your proof page.
  5. 5Fly the XR Journey at home: find the five relics and the five clue words of the Kingdom Key.

Questions & answers

How do I score kingdom points?

Challenge choices earn up to 100, your reflection earns 50, and every gift a teammate sends you adds 5.

What are the clue words?

STAY · OPEN · LISTEN · LOVE · MAKE ROOM: one hides at each gate of the XR Journey. Find all five and you carry the Kingdom Key.

What are relics?

Five glowing treasures hidden along the XR road: the Vine Branch, Golden Key, Oil Lamp, Wheat Sheaf, and Purple Cloth. Tap them to fill your satchel.

Can I send gifts?

Yes: tap the gift box next to a teammate's name and choose one of five encouragement gifts. You get 10 per mission, so spend them well.

Can I play alone?

Yes: Solo Mission is self-paced with the guides beside you, and you still earn real badges.

Staff & Tech Guide

For media teams, tech volunteers, and church staff supporting the week.

Quick start

  1. 1Devices: any modern browser works: phones, tablets, Chromebooks, smartboards, and Quest headsets. No installs.
  2. 2Print kit: the Kingdom Map (/map), QR posters (/qr), these guides (/guides), and gift passes (/gift) all have print buttons.
  3. 3Sound: the Voice toggle in the menu turns on narrated navigation; the XR Journey is fully narrated with subtitles.
  4. 4Big screen: put the room lobby or the trailer on the projector before each session.
  5. 5AR stations: one phone per pod: open the XR Journey and tap START AR.

Questions & answers

How does the AR mode work?

On AR-capable Android phones and Quest headsets, the XR Journey shows a START AR button: the whole kingdom shrinks to a tabletop diorama in the room. iPhones play the full 3D journey instead.

What data is stored?

First names, choices, reflections, badges, and room codes only: no emails, no passwords, no accounts. Proof pages are printable records for families.

The room feels behind: what do I do?

Rooms sync every few seconds. If a screen stalls, refresh the page: the seat and scores are safe on the server.

Voice won't play?

Browsers need one tap first: toggle Voice in the menu (or tap anywhere) and cues will speak. Subtitles always run in the XR Journey.

Can we brand printouts?

Every printable carries the Net Kidz Connect lockup and the production credit. Ask AMX Labs for co-branded editions.
